Top Ghanaian record producer and sound engineer, Benjamin Garzy Mensah who is popularly known as Mix Master Garzy is appealing to all top Ghanaian musicians to invite the promising ones to their studios when the need arises for a music collaboration from these young ones.
The award-winning producer believes this will be of great help to the up-and-coming talents since they are not going to get the song recorded and sent via email or other online platforms to them.
The most wanted record producer in Africa also believes that though technology is growing and has made it possible for artistes to work together on a song where both acts can be in different locations and still record a song together. It is also important for our musicians to invite the young ones to their studios and record with them with they ask for collaborations.
He further explained that, instead of them requesting the song via email, they should rather invite them to their studios and spend time with to record, which in the long run will give the young ones more experience and a better relationship with the established acts.
He said this in an interview with radio personality Samuel Atuobi Baah popularly known as Sammy Flex on Zylofon Fm on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.
“…we are begging our top artistes to also listen to we the young ones that are coming. Like if we can call on them feature, if they have their personal studio they should invite us to the studio, let’s vibe on it”, he said.
He also added that, “…I know the technology is growing but that one will give us more knowledge. It will also help us…even if they are two great artistes, they should still meet.”
