Africa1Media Set To Launch Its First Youth Sports Tournament

Africa1Media (A1M), an advisory and consulting firm for creative talents, is pleased to announce the launch of its maiden Youth Football Tournament in Accra, Ghana as part of its Youth Sports Development Initiative.

Youth Sports is a viable medium through which young athletic and sporting talents can be groomed and guided for a career in the global sports economy.

We believe at A1M that creating an avenue through which young creative and talented people are mobilized for a good cause has the potential of encouraging them to work towards being the change they need in their lives, and in the process allows them to contribute significantly to society.

It is in response to the need for such an avenue that we initiated the youth sports development program with the primary objective of discovering and developing young African sporting talents.

After extensive consultative sessions with stakeholders in the sports sector, thorough planning and preparations, A1M is set to venture into youth sports development, starting with football.

Notwithstanding that this first edition will be our maiden football scouting tournament, we have engaged international coaches to participate in recruiting the best of budding sporting talents.

For this edition, we have enlisted coaches from Ghana, the Scandinavian countries, as well as professionals with experience from Premier League Academy Football Clubs and Foundations such as Arsenal and West Ham Foundation.

We are further looking to have them scout sporting talents from all the 16 regions of Ghana, starting with these 5 regions

The search is for sporting talents between the ages of 15 and 17 years. This release is a formal call for both male players (female players to be added next year) within the mentioned age bracket to register and partake in the tournament.

The tournament which will take place from the 30th of September to the 2nd of October, 2022 will include:
