Football talent managemnt agency, Arthur Legacy has launched its much anticipated program, Calcio Trade Ball.
The official press launch came off at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra on May 10, 2022 with dignitaries including the Ghana’s Minister of Youth Sports, Honourable Mustapha Ussif, the Italian Ambassador to Ghana, Daniela d’Orlandi and General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association, Prosper Harrison Ad those in attendance.
This year’s event will have a twist to it with the theme being “Stop Player Exploitation; Save football” – where aside from the usual classic awards night, there will be an All-Star football match between Ghana XI and Africa XI.
Also, there will be a seminar for promising and established footballers on players’ exploitation and how the menace can be stopped in the country.
Speaking to the media, the Italian Ambassador to Ghana, Daniela d’Orlandi commented on the relationship between the countries and her commitment to the theme to help footballers reach their potential.
The Youth and Sports Minister, Hon. Mustapha Ussif also spoke on the relationship between Ghana and Italy and thanked Oliver Arthur for re-launching the Calcio Trade Ball after a four-year absence.
Prosper Harrison Addo, General Secretary (GFA) likewise addressed the media stating his outfit’s support for the project and his excitement to see the Calcio Trade Ball make a return.
