George Bonsu Agyei aka Nana B is a new Artist in the music industry and an Ashanti Royal based mostly in Oseikrom. Named traditionally as Nana Bonsu,he is a very simple person, calm and just in private life. The inexcusable passion to do music started from old school days in 1998.
Nana B had his basic education at Peter’s Educational center after which he furthered his secondary education @ Opoku Ware school,Kumasi. Application to the premier University was granted in 2002 and Nana B successfully graduated from the University of Ghana,Legion in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political science with Philosophy.
With the expertise acquired, sundry courses and training experiences,Nana B entered into Banking in 2012 and thus has been my profession to date. Will very soon start a master’s degree program in Law of communication in a renowned international university that will be communicated later.
About the Album:
In few months ahead, the full album of Nana B will be out. The 10 track album consists of circular songs such as Aids(the current hit single),
Yeepemso,Ghana(Album title),Pretty Girl,Meyere dadaa,Owuo nhyeda,Afutusem,Kete(a traditional adowa piece)etc.
Belief in a particular Genre:
Nana B believes more in Highlife music which is the original made in Ghana music and hopes to champion the dream of preserving Ghanaian cultural heritage through highlife compositions which is our unique identity across Africa and the world over.
As quoted, every good citizen thinks of what he can do for his society and not otherwise. Our societies have been instrumental in our success and I believe is about time we pay them back or give them a run for their money. My mission is to help combat social vices through music.
Educating the public through music is fast, effective, catchy and long lasting.
Is a creative story to caution the world particularly the Ghanaian youth that Aids is Real and so we should be cautious of the partners we move or change with. Acts of sexual immorality should highly be guarded against. Life is precious, let’s preserve it so we can realise our dreams and future ambitions.
