Ghana Armed Forces Officers Attack Pastor and Colleague (Soldier) Over Land Dispute.

The Ghana Armed Forces have come under a heavy criticism in recent times over what has been described as abuse of power and physically manhandling people.

A source has indicated to Kobbykyeinews.com that some officers of the Ghana Armed forces have attacked some members of a congregation at Amasaman.

The source indicated that one WO2 Anto Yaw George of Base Ordinance Depot (BOD), Burma Camp, Accra and Cpl Kanor Daniel, Number 201814 of the Training and Doctoring Command together with some civilians visited Amasaman Achiaman Estate church in search of a member who is in connection with a land case with them.

Upon arrival, the said member wasn’t present, and WO2 Anto launched his first attack by hitting the phone from the hand of the pastor who was trying to reach the said member of his church.

Another member (a Lady) of the church, trying to intervene was also slapped in the cause by the rioting men even before she could introduce herself as a soldier of the Republic of Ghana.

Realizing the severity of attacks, the pastor called the Amasaman Divisional Police Command to report the case.

Sources have revealed that investigations are currently ongoing and police at the Amasaman division are handling the matter with zero triviality in order to restore calm.
