The Women’s Institute , a Sandra Ankobiah project, which drives education and empowerment initiatives for the cause of women organized an Event Dubbed : SISTERHOOD.
DCOP Lydia Donkor, Claudia Lumor (Founder of Glitz Africa ) and Dr Penelope Adinku ( Ghana’s First Female Cardiothoracic Surgeon) were speakers present to engage the fifty (50) Young female entrepreneurs who were selected by the institute to be present at the event.
Eight (8) amongst the Fifty were given 60 seconds each to pitch their businesses and four (4) out of the Eight (8) were surprisingly awarded prizes to aid their infant businesses.
In attendance were notable Ghanaian Female figures like Nana Aba Anamoah , Lydia Forson and amongst others who offered advices to the young female entrepreneurs.
Awardees were extremely excited and sang praises to Sandra Ankobiah , the speakers present and other female entrepreneurs who were there to educate them on the basic science of Entrepreneurship.
Sandra Ankobiah , the brain behind this whole movement, in an interview with KobbykyeiNews mentioned that the event is going to be perpetual.
