KikiBees restaurant, bar and lounge as part of its corporate social responsibility has organized a career guidance fair for school children in its catchment area. The event took place on Thursday 6th June, 2019 at the premises of KikiBees. The program sought to equip young school kids with education in career choices and empower them to make informed decisions especially in the choice of a career path as they grow up. It had in attendance professionals like a counselor, an engineer, media personalities and many others.
Addressing the school children and all gathered in an opening address, the CEO of KikiBees, Mr. Bennet Agyekum advised the children to take hold of their future now because the future is today and not tomorrow.
“For today, I want you to sow a seed for your future. I want you kids to stop saying when I grow up. It’s good to say it when you’re a child but I remember it was only yesterday when I also used to say when I grow up. Growing up is an everyday process it does not just happen overnight”, he concluded.
