It’s Medikal’s opinion to say he saved rap music, I don’t feel disrespected in anyway – Kwaw Kese

Ghanaian rapper, Medikal got rap music lovers talking a few weeks back after he made the bold claim of saving Ghana rap music some four years back.

With some supporting his claim, others said he was just bragging and being disrespectful to his older colleagues like Sarkodie, Manifest and Kwaw Kese who have always been relevant in the industry.

However, Swedru-based Kwaw Kese believes it was Medikal’s opinion to say that but he does not in anyway feel disrespected by the comment.

Replying to a question during a twitter interaction with Kobby Kyei and his fans concerning this issue, Kwaw Kese wrote, “Medikal deserves everything he’s getting today because he’s worked hard from last 4 years. As for saving rap, that’s his opinion. I don’t feel disrespected in any way and I’m a big fan”.

On how we can catch up with our Naija counterparts who seem far gone with their music, the “Dondo” hitmaker responded by commenting that we should make our music a business instead of a hobby.
