Kwesi Arthur stole my work – An Instagram User alleges

An Instagram user with the handle @realreez has launched a stinging allegation against Ghanaian rapper and one time BET nominee Kwesi Arthur for stealing his works.

In a series of post on his Instagram stories, the aggrieved user who seems to be a graphic designer levelled accusations against the “Ground Up” artiste that he stole his designs for his cover art of his new EP Live From Nkrumah Krom Vol. II. In grided photos, @realreez shared how his original designs and that of Kwesi Arthur compares and one might be tempted to believe that, there may be some substance in this allegation looking at the similarities and differences. He goes on to detail how Kwesi Arthur approached him for a cover of his then upcoming EP in 2018, a work he (@realreez) finished in October, 2018 only for him to wake up in April, 2019 and see “this blatant theft”.

In further lamentation, @realreez posts about the disrespect and the lack of appreciation that is meted out to them as young designers even after investing so much time, energy and creativity in their works. So far we’ve not heard anything from Kwesi Arthur or his management about this issue. But as usual trust kobbykyeinews to bring you every detail of this matter to the latter.
