Martin King Arthur popularly known as Kofi Kinaata is a Ghanaian musician and songwriter from Takoradi. He is noted for his fante rap and freestyle and therefore known as the Fante Rap God. The award winning artiste was the guest for the interactive Twitter session with KobbyKyeiNews last night.
The “Made In Taadi” hit maker made interesting revelations about his family, things he has learnt from Ghanaian music greats, his collaborations and hinted on a possible “Queenaata”.
“My house is like a church choir, everyone has a part to sing. My mom is the most creative, she composes new songs almost every week shout out to Auntie Ama!”. The musician said about his family.
A fan suggested to him if he would would be open to the idea of collaborating with our living kegends. In a reply to the fan, the “Confession” hit maker hinted that he has songs with some of these living legends which is yet to come out.
“I did something with Paapa Yanson before he passed. It’s yet to be released. Also done something with with Aka Blay, Kojo Antwi and Pat thomas which are yet to be released.” He replied.
“Projecting the Fante language, projecting highlife music, Live Band instrumentation and performance, telling stories and being in depth with lyrics and content” he answered when he was asked what he has learnt from the living legends in Ghanaian music.
Kofi Kinaata hinted that he is single and free but he has some in mind. He has released many hits over the years some include Susuka, Made In Taadi and Confessions to name a few.
