Ghanaian FIFA and CAF licensed referee, Daniel Laryea has expressed joy at latest changes at the GFA describing it as welcoming.
Laryea, the well respected knight of the whistle stated that the new developments are a sure sign that referees are now being given the needed attention.
Speaking on “The File” on GTV Sports+, he stated, the new GFA administration headed by Kurt Okraku is finally recognising the key roles that referees play in bringing back the love.
He acknowledged that such innovations will prove to be a good attractive point to encourage young ones to also join the noble profession.
Daniel Laryea was reacting to news that referees will now be transported to match centres by the intercity STC coaches in a new agreement with the GFA.
