Sarkodie says he knew the effect of his ‘Nana Toaso’ line in his controversial ‘Happy Day’ song.
Sarkodie on that particular song which had Lynx Entertainment signee, Kuami Eugene endorsed President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo just before the general elections.
The rapper was accused by the opposition NDC of taking monies from the ruling NPP government for his song. Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM’s ‘DayBreakHitz’, Sarkodie stated emphatically that the NPP never approached him after the song.
According to him, there was no political approach to the song. He says, ”I was not approached by the NPP after Happy Day. There was no political approach to it.”
