There has been countless stories about how difficult it is to collaborate with a fellow artiste in Ghana and the story is even worse when it has to do with an underground artiste trying to feature a mainstream artiste on a record.
Highlife sensation Nautyca has shared his experience about his one time hurtful encounter with Bisa Kdei in his bid to feature him on a song. Sharing his story on Hitz Fm with Andy Dosty, the “Problem” hitmaker recounted how he approached Bisa some years back to collaborate with him on a song. After a few conversations, Bisa told him he does not work with underground artistes anymore and he will only do that feature if he is paid Five Thousand Ghana cedis (5000.00).
Nautyca said though he was not even perturbed about the charge and he understands that it is business but the manner with which Bisa spoke to him portrayed him as an arrogant person. He was however effusive about his new management, MOB records for connecting him and making things easier for him these days when it comes to his features and collaborations.
