The suit filed by the two teacher unions against K.A Technology, Ministry of Education and two others have been dismissed by the High Court in Accra (General Jurisdiction).
The filed suit was dismissed for lack of capacity, upon an application by the lawyers of K.A Technology, that was poised to dismiss the case.
It is believed that the court awarded a whooping sum of GH¢15,000 against the two Teacher Unions, Innovative Teachers and All Teachers Alliance Ghana (ATAG), in favor of the K.A Technologies Ghana Limited, who happens to be the first Defendant.
The two groups joined hands to sue the Attorney-General, the Ghana Education Service and the Ministry in charge of Education over awarding a contract to the first defendant.
The Court however dismissed the suit following lack of capacity to be demonstrated to the Court, based on which the suit was filed.
Thus, the Court awarded GH¢15,000 in favor of the first defendant due to no cause of action against the defendants, according to the court.
