Often times than not people who fall into severe depression struggle to bounce back to their former happy selves.
But that is not the case for beautiful Ghanaian songstress MzVee, who has disclosed that she has learnt her lessons from that unfortunate episode of depression in her life.
According to her, one of the biggest lessons depression taught her, was how to communicate and open up about her feelings.
Speaking to Jerry Justice on Adom FM’s Ofiekwanso on Monday, August 17, MzVee disclosed that she learned what she was not doing right in those dark days and right now communication which used to be one of her weaknesses is not a problem for her.
She said, “The good thing is I learnt what I was not doing right so now communication is the best thing. It’s number one. I was not communicating well but now I’m learning how to communicate effectively.”
“Now I actually know how to communicate my feelings very well so it’s not something that’s going to be a problem,” the singer added.
Recall MzVee sometime back revealed that she was faced with a bout of depression for almost a year which made her take a break from music.
She’s however back serving her fans with quality music having released “Sheriff”, “Who Are You”, “Baddest Boss” featuring Mugeez and her latest jam, “Baby”.
