If you wake up and you’re counting history today, add Wutah to that lot because they’re not coming back again. After weeks of rumors and speculations, Wutah Kobby have finally confirmed their split.
He revealed this in a video we spotted on the twitter timeline of Ameyaw Debrah. In the announcement, Kobby made it known that Wutah Kobby is now a solo artiste and so shall it be. He was however not willing to go into details as to what has really brought this final split between him and Afriyie Wutah.
“The duo wutah is never ever coming back again. It’s over. We’re done. I’ve made my stand and i don’t want anybody to ask me anything. I want you all to respect the fact that Wutah Kobby is now a solo artiste and a brand and so shall it be and remain”, Wutah Kobby said in the video.
This is not the first time the group are said to be splitting. They separated in 2009 but made a comeback in 2017 with their “Bronya” hit song enjoying massive airplay leading them to win “Best Group” at the 2018 VGMAs. But from what we see, this split may be forever and “eventuarry for the vanishing”.
