Ace Ghanaian singer and performer Akosua Agyapong has levelled some accusations against the Rex Omar led GHAMRO administration.
The singer in an interview on Bryt TV called out the organization for some questionable expenditures while demanding accountability.
According to her, government supports musicians with monies every year but these monies do not get to the rightful beneficiaries due to some misappropriation from Rex Omar and his executives.
Akosua Agyapong also stated that GHAMRO gets revenue from spinners, shopping malls, Google, among others which should be enough to settle the royalties for musicians and she challenged the outfit to prove her wrong if she is lying.
She added that this was not aimed at tarnishing anyone’s image but calling for the right thing to be done to ensure that musicians gain the full rewards of their hardwork.
