Rapper Teephlow has disclosed in an interview that he felt being hard done by his former record label and hence it was never a hard decision to walk away after his contract with them ended.
In a chit chat with Sammy Flex on Zylofon Fm, the “phlowcator” said the Dr. Paa Kwesi Ndoum owned record label were not doing enough to push him into the limelight. They were not willing enough to invest and promote his music to the heights it deserves, a situation he complained about several times but didn’t get any better and as such he had no other option than to walk away as a disappointed Teephlow.
Teephlow who is out promoting his new single “Blessing” which features Nigerian “Weytin we gain” hitmaker Victor AD, added that he feels very comfortable now that he is on his own which has seen him already release his hit single Forgive and this new banger. He also advised fellow unestablished musicians to be very careful and cautious whenever they have the opportunity to be signed by a record label. They shouldn’t be blinded by passion but should also look at the business side of the music, he added.
