Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Akwaboah shares his experience in composing music and also narrates how he came up with hits such as ‘Hy3 Me Bo’.
During his interview on Y FM, the music crooner mentioned that he’s usually captured by a serene environment to get him in the mood of writing calm songs. ‘Hy3 Me Bo’ for example, was written at Midnight. He explained that though it took him about three months to write ‘Hy3 Me Bo’, what really counted was getting it right and making sure it sounded good.
He further shared his experience writing other songs like ‘Mewu’ which he composed during his moment of just playing with the keys on the piano and his latest hit, ‘Gangsta Lovin’ struck him with a vibe while he was listening to a beat.
He again added that he equally writes songs for other artistes and still does in pursuit of being an all-in-one musical prodigy.
It’s pretty obvious that Akwaboah’s versatility is built from diversity in environments, moods and atmospheres and just like many other artistes who gather inspiration from different sources, he’s at no stop to doing the most with creativity and sharing with the world his great talent.
