A nation seeking to overly develop and drastically reduce unemployment must not only focus on formal education but channel enough resources into vocational education.

Vocational Training contributes largely to the working standards and reducesses the rampant level of employment. Thus, the high rate of unemployment in developing countries will be limited when well structured policies are put in place to give vocational education the needed support.

Andrews Asare commonly known as ‘Andis Barber’ has joined the train of dedicated and selfless Ghanaian through their social responsibilities to help young people develop skills and have entrepreneurial spirit to alleviate the alarming unemployment issues in the country through barbering.

Mr. Asare, a professional barber with over a decade experience owns four barbershops in Accra and has trained over 50 young peoplet to take up a career in barbering. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Andis Barbering is offering a two-months intensive training for all senior high school graduates and hopes to extemd the initiative to other regions.

The free training runs from November to the end of December and all who are interested in grabbing the opportunity should contact him via Andis Barber on all social media platforms or visit one of his shops located at East Legon, Accra.

Mr Asare is committed to making an impact in society with over 30 of his trained people are making a living from barbering.
