Melodious Singer, Sister Afia Speaks On How She Got Featured On Sarkodie’s Black Love Album

In December 2019, African most decorated artiste, Michael Owusu Addo commonly known as Sarkodie released his sixth studio album titled “Black Love” which featured some African superstars including sensational vocalist, sister Afia.

Sister Afia surprisingly got featured on one of the masterpieces on the album dubbed “Broken heart”. The song which was produced by MOG, one of the youngest hardworking producers in the country is a soothing low-tempo single that tackles infidelity.

Sister Afia who describes the said featured as a dream come true, has revealed to award winning blogger, Kobby Kyei of Kobbykyeinews, how the whole thing came about

In the interview, she said that, sometime ago she went to sarkodie’s house to work on her own song and whiles she was in the house, Sarkodie did a new song with her which ended up on his album.

According sister Afia, she didn’t know the song will appear on the most talked about album or even released anytime soon but was surprisingly selected as one of the fifteen tracks on the album..

Sister Afia who believes calling herself just a fan of Sarkodie is understatement, said in the interview that, being featured on Sarkodie’s album has added alot to her brand as a growing artiste.

Sarkodie when asked what influenced her selection onto the album, he said that after following her previous works, he realized that the young lady is very talented and a great vocalist who if given the opportunity she can do greater things in the industry.
