Ghana is well noted with the production of Cocoa, now succeeded in the production of many Cocoa products. There is therefore the need to preserve this heritage thereby celebrating Tetteh Quarshie’s Cocoa, its benefit to our health system and its contribution to nation building.
Annually, Ghana sets a day for the celebration of ‘Chocolate’, but this year has taken a different turn, where there has been an extension of the Chocolate Day to a full week celebration, dubbed ‘Chocolate Week’.
Under Chocolate Week, numerous activities will be captured under the theme “Eat Chocolate, Stay Healthy And Grow Ghana”. “Our Chocolate, Our Health, Our Wealth” will be captured as the sub-theme.
The Ghana Tourism Authority, Ghana Cocoa Board and the Cocoa Processing Company have all teamed up to make this year’s Chocolate celebration an exceptional one.
It is also believed that other partners include 57Chocolate, Niche Cocoa and Cocoa liquor manufacturer, GIHOC Distilleries.
