Women Always Representing Feminism Should Be Humble – Obibini
David Kwaku Effum Boafo, known in the industry as Obibini has said in a Kumasi based radio station, Kumasi Fm that women always representing feminism should be humble and allow the men to really take control. He said this during his radio tour in the garden city.
According to the rapper, his new song, Gogo Woho, is one that is to tell women that no matter how high they have reached in life, they must be submissive to the partners. Not downgrading women empowerment, the rapper believes that not matter very achieving a woman may seem, she should still be submissive to her partner.
Taking that inspiration, he preached this news the best way he could and that was through rap. In his music, the rapper the rapper emphasised the fact that women have to be humble because there is a thin line between pride and claiming total independence.
“Women have to understand that always representing feminism shouldn’t allow the men feel useless, every lady needs a man to love, care and take control of certain things. When you always preach feminism as a means of freeing yourself from men [As if men have enslaved them] is where I think they have it wrong. My single “Gogo Woho” only seeks to emphasise that women need to humble themselves no matter how high they have reached in life.” he said.
