2018 VGMA Record of the Year winner Teephlow, known in real life as Lukeman Ekow Baidoo, has sounded some words of counsel to young people aiming to pursue their passion in music or any creative field.
Discussing “Parents and Talent Management” on Star Talk With Kobby Kyei, Teephlow was of the view that parents all around the world would always want the best for their children as they grow up hence their knack for always trying to get them into “secured” professions rather than supporting their wards to follow their passions or talents.
However, “Mr. Bar for Bar” believed that it’s up unto you the young one to prove your worth to your parent or guardian and convince them to believe in your talent.
According to Teephlow, once your talent begins to make sense and start reaping benefits, your parents or guardians will have no other option than to join your bandwagon. “It all depends on you the person”, he ended.
