We can condemn our brothers’ acts but we can’t recuse Charter house of blame, they were part of the problem – Sarkodie

The 20th VGMAs may have come and gone but the aftermath of events and subsequent actions taken by charter house has got everybody talking. It all started from the disgraceful brawl that broke out between the bhimnatives and shatta movement, the detention of both Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale in police custody and now the somewhat harsh decision to ban both artistes indefinitely from the VGMAs and stripping then off the plagues they won on the night in the process.

With Kwaw Kese starting a campaign on social media with #MOMAGA, Sarkodie has also leaped to the defense of his brothers in a stinging criticism of Charter house. “King Sark” who have in the last couple of days been talking and tweeting about the music industry is of the view that, in as much as the acts of his two colleagues is condemnable, charter house cannot be laid off the hook because their laxity and ineffectiveness especially in security was a premeditating factor to this whole mess we find ourselves in now.

In one of his tweets, Sarkodie said, “But for charter house to push blame on our brothers and leave their faults out, that’s wrong. Security was bad and a whole lot I don’t wanna go into”. He also opined that the move to ban Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale is a rush and a harsh decision and one he says musicians could repay back to charter house. The debate continues, trust us to bring you every detail of this to the latter.
